Custom Pool Planning

Planning a Gunite Pool or Spa

A custom pool project brings the pool, spa, surrounding landscape, and the way you plan to use the space into one coordinated design. Blue Water Pools and Spas works with homeowners and landscape designers on projects across Cape Cod, Nantucket, Metro Boston, and Rhode Island. A useful first conversation starts with the property, the desired pool or spa, site access, and the features you want the finished outdoor space to support.

1. Site and Design Coordination

The planning discussion connects the pool or spa to the property and the broader landscape design. Share the project address, intended use, site access, and any drawings or design work already in progress.

2. Structure and Pool Systems

The published construction work includes excavation and framing, rebar placement, pool plumbing, and gunite application. These parts create the structure and systems behind the finished pool or spa.

3. Tile and Interior Finish

Tile installation and the selected plaster or pebble finish shape the completed appearance. Reviewing finish preferences early helps connect those choices to the home and surrounding outdoor space.
